“The HIPPY programme in Family Service Centres” (Burgon, 1997) is published, together with “Family Service Centres Evaluation”.

Both the integrated Family Service Centre concept and the HIPPY component of it were found to provide benefits for children and their parents.

Rain or shine – we always have fun at Takanini Playgroup

At Takanini Family Service Centre, our licensed playgroup is a free service for parents/caregivers to come along with their children under-fives. The playgroup hours are Tuesdays between 9 – 12pm and Thursdays 11:30 – 2:30pm (except on school holidays).
